Intermediate Yogāsana Class
Intermediate Yogāsana Class began in May 2024 with a vision of training interested participants for yogāsana of intermediate that involve poses that build on beginner practices, requiring increased strength, flexibility, balance, and core engagement. They offer a more challenging practice that can deepen understanding of the body and mind.
The uniqueness of this class lies in its format of teaching and system of organising and conducting the class. Here, the class is conducted alternate days of the week. Multiple trained teachers who are well versed in this level of asana practice train the participant for practicing complex postures ranging from splits, arm balances, inversions, back bends, forward bends etc. Each teacher conducts gets a chance to select a particular subject for teaching and are allotted just one class per week in a rotational system. This provides variety to the participants and the teachers too get to exercise their freedom in teaching as there is no particular syllabus to follow. The teaching is done purely on experience of the teacher.
